MusicVault — Privacy Policy

1. Local Use (No Account Required)

MusicVault works fully offline. The audio files you import stay on your device and are never sent anywhere unless you explicitly use the optional cloud backup.

2. Optional Cloud Backup

If you choose to enable cloud backup, MusicVault uses Sign in with Apple to create your vault. Files are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before upload; the server stores only ciphertext and cannot read your music.

• What is stored: your Apple account identifier (pseudonymous), vault quota, and your encrypted files.
• Why: solely to provide your personal backup vault (app functionality).
• Not sold or shared. Not used for advertising, analytics or tracking.

3. Deletion

Settings → Delete Account permanently removes your cloud account and every stored file immediately. Deleting the app does not affect files kept on your device.

4. Purchases

Vault size upgrades (15 GB / 50 GB) are one-time purchases processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
